The web design process

Consultation
We setup a time to meet and discuss your web site project. We'll answer any questions that you have. We'll find out what kind of web site you are planning or thinking about. This process should give you enough information to decide whether you want to go on to the next step.
Discovery and estimate
This is where we define the web site requirements. The discovery process lets us know in detail your website plans. It gives us the focus and strategy for the project. This is where we establish the web site's goals, content and resources, and develop a strategy for successful implementation of the web site. This is where we also define the scope, timeline and budget. Once you decide to go forward after our initial consultation, we will ask you to fill out our Estimate Request Form. We will then outline your web site specifications and provide you with an estimate. Once you've agreed to proceed 1/3 of the total estimated is due.
Content collection
The content is then collected. This is where we collect all the graphics, text, logos, photographs etc. We will help you in pulling together all the content for your web site.
Conceptual development
The design concept and information architecture is developed. We develop the visual concept which is the process of finalizing the look and feel of your web site. Once a design sample is developed it is uploaded to Conceptual Web Designs' server where you can view the design online. Revisions are then made on your request and are subject to good faith.
Production
The web site is produced based on the agreed design and information architecture. This is where we implement the design. At this stage the content is optimized for each web page.
Review
We conduct extensive testing once production is complete. The web site undergoes an extensive testing phase and is checked on both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
Web site launch
The full website is launched. We will submit your site to search engines. Once it is launched a back up CD is delivered to the client. The remainder of the balance is due at this time.
Maintenance
At this time we agree upon any ongoing web site maintenance. Once the site goes live we are available to our clients to ensure that your web site is a success. |
